We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Veterinarians

GoWaggly does not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We implement appropriate security measures including TLS encryption for data in transit, AES-256 encryption for stored data, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication for staff, and security monitoring and incident response procedures.
Despite these protections, no system can guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

13. Veterinarian and Provider Applicant Data
This section describes how GoWaggly collects and uses personal information from veterinary professionals and other service providers who express interest in joining the platform or who submit a formal application ("Provider Applicants").
13.1 Categories of Data Collected
Initial Interest and Contact Information

Identity and Credential Documents
- government-issued photo identification (uploaded document)
- veterinary license number, expiration date, and supporting license documents
- professional and general liability insurance certificates
- DEA registration details, where applicable to the services offered
Self-Disclosures and Background Information
- criminal-conviction and license-disciplinary disclosures (free-text responses)
- background-check authorization and results obtained through a third-party screening vendor, where used
Onboarding and Agreement Records
- training completion records and platform agreement acceptance timestamps
- audit logs of GoWaggly operations staff review decisions and status changes
13.2 Purposes
We collect this information to verify eligibility and professional credentials, conduct the credential review and onboarding process, comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and maintain platform safety and quality for pet owners and their pets.
13.3 How We Share Provider Applicant Data
State Licensing Databases
License information may be verified against publicly available state licensing records, including the Georgia Online Automated License Verification System (GOALS) and equivalent databases in other states.
Background-Check Vendors
Where a background check is conducted, we will share identifying information with our third-party screening vendor only after receiving your written authorization. Results are used solely for the purpose described in that authorization.
GoWaggly Operations Staff
Application materials, credential documents, self-disclosures, and review audit logs are accessible to GoWaggly operations personnel who are conducting or overseeing the provider review process. Access is limited on a need-to-know basis.
13.4 Retention
Credential documents, review records, and onboarding materials for active providers are retained for the duration of the provider relationship and for as long as required for legal, audit, or regulatory purposes thereafter.
Personal data of Provider Applicants who do not become active on the platform is retained for a limited period and then securely deleted or de-identified.
13.5 Your Rights as a Provider Applicant
Provider Applicants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting us at privacy@gowaggly.com. We will respond within applicable legal timeframes.
